Alta California, commonly known as California, is a southwestern province of Magicatdom, covering from the western slopes of the Sierra Mountains to the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is roughly continuous with the borders of the Human state of California, with which it shares a name. Its capital lies in San Francisco, the Province's oldest city.
